Add a Parts Wanted Listing
Before you can create a Listing for Business, Parts or Jobs, you must have an account. Setup your free account with us. Click here
If you already have an account, Login to your account. Then, select Parts Wanted from the Home screen, or hover over the Parts tab at the top of the screen and click on Parts Wanted from the drop-down menu.
This will take you to the main Parts Wanted page. On the centre of the page, you'll find the directory of parts wanted listings posted by users on Heliconnect. In order to create your own Parts Wanted listing, you'll need to get started by clicking the Add Listing button in the top, left hand corner of the screen.
On the next page, you'll need to hover your mouse over the drop-down menu in the centre of the screen, then click on Parts Wanted.
This will take you to a page where you'll need to fill out some information about the part you're interested in buying. Everything you enter onto this page will be posted publicly as part of your Parts Wanted listing. At the top of the page, there are three Part Categories boxes, which will help people browsing Heliconnect find your listing and tell potential sellers what kind of part you're looking for. We recommend choosing at least one of the options from the drop-down menu, and you may choose up to three.
Next, you can fill in the rest of the fields with more information about the part. You'll need to fill out the Listing Title (ie. Part Name), Contact First Name, Condition, and Contact Last Name fields, since these fields are required to post a parts listing. All of the other fields are optional, but the more information you enter about the part, the more likely you are to be contacted by interested sellers.
After filling out as many fields about the part as you'd like, you'll find an area below it where you can add photos to the listing. By posting photos of parts similar to the one you're looking for, you can give vendors a better idea of what you're trying to purchase. If you'd like to attach photos to the listing, first click the blue Add an image text.
Next, click Choose Files to select a file from your hard-drive. Once you've chosen the correct file from your computer, click Open at the bottom-right corner of the pop-up window.
Once you've selected a photo to upload, the filename of that photo will appear on the page, like this:
To add multiple images, simply follow the same steps again; first, click Add an image, then click Choose Files, select your image from your device, and click Open. You can also remove images once you’ve added them; just click Remove.
As a final step, you can also indicate your location on the map to indicate to sellers where you're purchasing from. Click Locate on Map and based on your address entered, the map will identify your location. You can change this or remove it.
When you’re ready, complete your listing, click Submit.
