The 20-inch blade makes cutting large shingles easy, and the slide-in scale makes this shear much smaller for easier storage and transport. An included inlaid tape measure and angle guide make straight cuts or valley and hip cuts quick and easy. A flip-up roof hook, and rubber feet allow the cutter be used on steep pitched roofs. Blades are easily sharpened, and low-cost replacement blades are available.
