The GMR 3040-2CKHS Two-Way Radios with Charging Kit features 22 channels offering 7 FRS channels and 15 GMRS channels. It can be used to up to a 30 mile range. There are 121 privacy codes per channel to help reduce interference from other users. It features VOX operation, which allows you to use the radios hands-free, even without a headset. You can also receive emergency/weather broadcasts from the NOAA National Weather Service. When in Emergency/Weather mode, the system monitors the selected emergency/weather channel.
