Description:

The JDS20 Jewel Digital Scale is a perfect scale for weighing jewels or any kind of small precious objects, such as coins, gemstones, jewelry, gold, silver, etc. It is extremely accurate, it has a very high capacity of up to 20 grams and professional accuracy of 0.001g. It is compact and convenient to carry around for on-the-go use. The JDS20 scale sets 6 different modes of measurement (g, ozt, dwt, ct, gn, oz) to meet different needs. The Jewel digital scale features a flip open protective cover which has been designed to be used as a weighing tray to weigh jewels and a back lit LCD display that helps make the numbers easy to read.

Tips & Care:

Prior to using your scale for the first time, remove the plastic insulation strips from the battery compartment. Place scale on a flat level surface, press the ON/OFF key to turn on the scale, wait until “0.000” (zero) is displayed, you are ready to weigh. Place the object(s) on the weighing platform; wait a few seconds for the display to stabilize before taking a weight reading.

Functions:

Tare key, to subtract the weight of an empty tray or box for net weight. Mode key, which allows you to change the measurement unit from grams to ounces to pennyweight to troy ounces. Add Up key, to add up the weight of two items.
