The 6000-FNS3 PosiTector 6000 Advanced Coating Thickness Gauge with Regular Probe for Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metal Substrates, Complete Kit is a versatile, rugged tester using magnetic and eddy current principles to measure coating thickness on ferrous, non-ferrous metals accurately and quickly. For typical paint and coating applications for a thickness range of 0-60 mils (0-1500 um) applied to Ferrous substrates models include 6000-FS1 and 6000-FS3. Models for Non-Ferrous applications include 6000-NS1 and 6000-NS3. Models for use on both Ferrous and Non-Ferrous substrates include 6000-FNS1 and 6000-FNS3.
