The Legris series 7910 composite mini ball valve has a technical polymer body for lighter weight than metal valves, and it has a nickel-plated polished brass ball for higher corrosion resistance than steel. It has graphite-impregnated polyamide seat seals and NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) wear compensation seals for high wear resistance. This valve has a full port for reduced friction; the inner diameter of the valve is the same as the inner diameter of the pipes it connects to enable maximum operating efficiency. This inline valve connects two pipes going in the same direction using push-to-connect ends. It is designed to work with polymer tubing with no tube preparation required for reduced installation time. The valve can be mounted on a wall or an adjacent surface using staples. Ball valves use a spherical disc to control the flow between pipes, tubes, or hoses. Flow is allowed when the hole that pierces the ball-shaped disc is in line with the inlet and outlet of the valve and is blocked when the ball is horizontally swiveled 90 degrees, so that the hole of the ball is perpendicular to the opening of the valve.
