This Firepower 1423-2311 Type 1 Bench Grinding Wheel has a 36 grit and measures 6 Inch x 3/4-inch. The wheels are individually precision-balanced, trued and faced for smooth operation and each wheel is individually boxed so they stay clean and undamaged until use. These aluminum oxide wheels grind metal of high tensile strength like steel and steel alloy and are designed for versatile off-hand grinding in debarring bar stock after cutting and touching up, reconditioning and sharpening tools where precision grinding is not required. Grinding is done on the wheel periphery only.
