The Precision Brand MS-SS series stainless steel military worm gear clamp has a stainless steel band, housing, and screw, and are suitable for use where conformance to military specifications is required. A worm gear mechanism adjusts the clamp’s diameter to precisely apply sealing pressure. The weld-free housing helps reduce opportunities for corrosion and helps provide strong clamping. The 1/2" band, housing, and screw are made of stainless steel that conforms to the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) 300 series standard and provides resistance to corrosion in marine environments. The slotted, 5/16” hex-head screw allows installation using a blade screwdriver, nut driver, or socket wrench.
