The Dixon BU9 Boss hose clamp is made of cast carbon steel and is suitable for use with Air King-type fittings and with hose that has a 3/4" inside diameter (ID) and an outside diameter (OD) ranging from 1-10/64 to 1-20/64". This two-piece clamp has two gripping fingers to engage a collar on the hose fitting and ridges on the underside of the clamp sections to anchor the coupling to the hose. Two supplied 3/8" bolts and nuts, torqued without thread lubricant to 21 foot-pounds, join the clamp halves to apply uniform sealing pressure and provide strong clamping. This Boss hose clamp is suitable for use in air and water service, such as in mining.
