The 45-degree elbow changes flow direction between pipes and connects with NPT threads to create tighter seals than straight threads. It is made from brass, which is more economical, and offers greater corrosion resistance, than steel.This fitting meets standards ANSI B31.1 and B1.20.1 for quality assurance.
