Product Description

316 is known for its increased concentration of molybdenum. This increase helps to protect the alloy from corrosion. All common fusion and resistance methods of welding have been employed successfully with the exception of oxyacetylene welding. 316 was designed for paper mill equipment, but has been used in other general industrial parts.
