The ZP4 4-Pack is our new low-cost temporary dust barrier starter kit designed for commercial and residential contractors, as well as the DIY enthusiast. Strong, lightweight, compact, its 10’ height is tall enough for many jobs, yet it is compact enough to fit in the trunk of a car. Like our Contractor Grade aluminum spring-loaded poles, the Zip Pole eliminates the need for tape, ladders or staples, so it will not damage finished surfaces. The included Carry Bag makes it easy to store and transport your ZipWall system. It can hold up to 12 Zip Poles or additional accessories. The Zip Pole offers all the advantages of our Contractor Grade products. The twist-locking telescoping pole lets you raise the sheeting to the ceiling without a ladder. The exclusive spring-loaded mechanism at the top lets you lift the pole to tuck the sheeting under the foot while keeping the barrier under tension at all times. Zip Pole’s height ranges from 51-Inch to 10-foot3-Inch. Consider the labor savings of a ZipWall dust barrier system: A 30 foot long 9 foot high barrier takes about 1 hour to erect using conventional methods. With the Zip Pole system, the same barrier can be completed by one person in under 5 minutes. Zip Poles are made of rugged steel tubing. They have a baked-on finish and weigh just 1.5lbs each. Ideal for many uses, they can accept plastic or cloth sheeting up to 8 mils thick and can support up to 80 lbs. each. Zip Poles work with all of our Tight-Seal accessories. Push the plastic sheeting tightly against the ceiling by adding Foam Rails. You can also seal tightly along the walls by adding our Side Pack. Poles should be placed every 8-foot to 10-foot or closer if there is a lot of air movement. Use a Grip Disk under each pole to secure it on smooth flooring like vinyl or wood.
